A cancelled MRI schedule usually starts with a skipped PM. This is the field checklist AMT Imaging Solutions LLC uses on GE Signa and Siemens suites in Florida, South Georgia, and Texas. SDVOSB/VOSB. Palm Bay and Houston.

Chiller and cryogen: check compressor current, water flow, temperatures, and helium boil-off against the last visit. A climb in consumption means the cold head or chiller is already worn — do not wait for a weekend quench.

Gradient and RF: verify gradient amplifier status, coil integrity, and RF chain levels. Note any interlocks, fault codes, or image artifacts the techs have seen since the last visit.

Shim and image quality: confirm shim values and run image-quality checks the site trusts. Document what changed.

Same-visit options: contrast injector PM and MRI chiller/cold-head work when those systems share the suite. Out of scope: mobile trailer restoration and radiation safety physics.
