MRI and CT Field Service in Jacksonville and Northeast Florida

Northeast Florida sits between AMT's two core regions. It is up I-95 from our Palm Bay base and on the route to South Georgia, which we also cover. For Jacksonville-area imaging centers, hospitals and practices, that means one independent vendor for GE and Siemens MRI and CT across the First Coast and the Georgia line.

AMT Imaging Solutions is an SBA-certified SDVOSB/VOSB. MRI service is led by Mike Jackson, a field engineer since 1999 and a GE MRI instructor on the Signa HDxt, Optima MR450w and MR750w. AMT is an independent service company, not GE or Siemens.

Services for Jacksonville facilities

• MRI preventive maintenance: bimonthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual PM visits, or a single visit with no agreement.
• CT preventive maintenance: scheduled PM aimed at the faults that stop a CT mid-list, such as tube, gantry, cooling and detectors.
• Contrast injector service: PM and repair on Bayer/Medrad and Bracco injectors.
• MRI chiller and cold head service: diagnostics for helium consumption, compressor and water-flow problems before they turn into a fill or a quench.
• Installs and de-installs: technical support only. AMT does not do rigging, crane work or magnet moves.

Multi-site and cross-border groups

If your organization has sites in both Northeast Florida and South Georgia, one PM schedule and one price list can cover both. Mileage is $0.85 per mile beyond 30 miles of Palm Bay. Grouping visits by region keeps travel on each invoice down.

Pricing basics

MRI PM agreements run from $2,000 per year (annual) to $8,100 per year (bimonthly). A single MRI PM visit is $2,400 and a single CT PM visit is $2,800. Labor is $295 per hour weekdays from 7 am to 5 pm and $442.50 per hour after hours. Every repair and PM visit carries a 30-day workmanship warranty.
