Independent MRI and CT Service for Orlando and Central Florida

Central Florida has a lot of outpatient imaging: freestanding MRI centers, orthopedic groups, urgent-care networks with CT, and hospital outpatient sites. Many of them don't need an OEM contract on every scanner. They need a qualified engineer who will run the PM properly, write it up, and answer when a system faults.

AMT Imaging Solutions services GE and Siemens MRI and CT systems in the Orlando area from its base in Palm Bay, Florida. AMT's MRI work is led by Mike Jackson, who has 25+ years of imaging field service and is a GE MRI instructor on the Signa HDxt, Optima MR450w and MR750w. AMT is independent and not affiliated with GE or Siemens.

When an independent service company makes sense

  • Systems past warranty. Pay for scheduled MRI preventive maintenance or CT preventive maintenance, and handle repairs as they come up.
  • Mixed fleets. If you run a GE MRI and a Siemens CT, one vendor can cover both, plus the contrast injectors next to them.
  • Helium and cooling worries. A chiller or cold head that drifts out of range is usually the earliest warning of a costly event. Our MRI chiller and cold head service checks compressor current, water flow, temperatures and helium use against your last visit.

Plain pricing

MRI PM-only agreements are $2,000 per year (annual), $3,500 (semi-annual), $5,800 (quarterly) or $8,100 (bimonthly). A single MRI PM visit with no agreement is $2,400, and a single CT PM visit is $2,800. Labor is $295 per hour weekdays from 7 am to 5 pm and $442.50 per hour after hours, with a 2-hour minimum on unscheduled calls. Mileage is $0.85 per mile beyond 30 miles of Palm Bay. Parts are quoted separately.

What you get

Every PM ends with a written field service report suitable for accreditation files, and every visit carries a 30-day workmanship warranty. Repair calls start with phone triage: make, model, fault codes, symptoms and last PM date. We go on site when it's needed.
