MRI and CT Service for Valdosta, Tifton and South Georgia Facilities

Rural and regional hospitals and imaging centers in South Georgia often have fewer service options than a big metro. Waiting on a vendor from far away costs exam days. AMT Imaging Solutions covers South Georgia from our Florida base as part of our regular service area. It isn't an occasional trip.

AMT services GE and Siemens MRI and CT systems. Our MRI work is led by Mike Jackson, who has 25+ years in imaging field service and is a GE MRI instructor on the Signa HDxt, Optima MR450w and MR750w. Planning service when every scanner counts

At many smaller sites, one MRI or one CT carries the whole schedule. That makes planned maintenance more valuable.

• MRI preventive maintenance: pick an interval (annual, semi-annual, quarterly or bimonthly) that fits your volume.
• CT preventive maintenance: catch tube and cooling problems on a planned day instead of a busy one.
• Contrast injector service: Bayer/Medrad and Bracco PM and repair, scheduled with the scanner visit to save a second trip.
• MRI chillers and cold heads: in South Georgia's summer heat, an outdoor chiller is often the first thing to slip.

Travel costs, explained

South Georgia sites are outside the first 30 miles from our Palm Bay base, so mileage of $0.85 per mile applies. Pairing an MRI PM, a CT PM and an injector PM on one visit spreads that cost. Standard labor is $295 per hour, 7 am to 5 pm on weekdays. After-hours labor is $442.50 per hour. An MRI PM visit with no agreement is $2,400, a CT PM visit is $2,800, and both carry a 30-day workmanship warranty.
